About you.
We are looking for a Credit Support Specialist who will work across the credit function to ensure PremFina proactively manages credit risk across PremFina. This role will be varied with key stakeholders across contact, business operations, finance, sales and risk and compliance.
Reporting to the Head of Credit, primarily this role will ensure debt management and shortfall processes are followed as well as necessary agreement action. The role is initially for 12 months, with the possibility of becoming permanent based on performance and business needs.
What you'll be doing.
- Build relationships with brokers through email and phone to share information about status of agreements and support collections activity from brokers.
- Manage shortfall process including issuing communication to customers regarding any outstanding balance.
- Provide key reports to internal teams such as sales and the wider credit team whilst proposing next steps to resolve.
- Agreement management including supporting remediation work where required, prepare write offs and agreement status management in line with processes and PremFina business rules.
- Manage broker collections queries in line with service level agreement.
- Be a key point of contact with our debt collection agent ensuring collections are monitored and any queries/complaints are dealt with promptly in line with policies and procedures.
- Support the Head of Credit to drive forward efficiencies identified to ensure better customer and broker outcomes.
- Support the credit team and the wider risk and compliance team supporting KYC and AML for commercial customers and other tasks as required.

You will get brownie points for
- Experience dealing with debt collection agent organisations.
- Understanding of company structures and Know Your Customer (“KYC”) and Anti Money Laundering (“AML”) requirements.
- An understanding of premium finance and the end-to-end customer lifecycle.
