Key Responsibilities.

  • Support PremFina deliver against its vision and values, and by working in partnership with others across the business to ensure broker, customer and colleague outcomes are achieved.
  • Ensure you always put yourself in the shoes of our brokers and customers and in doing so, ensure we comply with regulations, law and internal policy.

Product & Platform Ownership.

  • Define and maintain the roadmap for our core business systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage the technical product backlog, prioritising system enhancements and platform stability.
  • Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to ensure API integrations, batch processing, and data flow across platforms.
  • Lead and oversee broker and partner onboarding, ensuring seamless integration (direct, API, or via Software House solutions).
  • Develop a strategic vision for platform scalability, security, and performance.
  • Lead a team of direct reports (administrators), manage vendor managed service and collaborate with architects and other feature teams to manage dependencies.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, external vendors, and Software Houses (SWHs).
  • Collaborate with pre-sales teams to define technical capabilities and onboarding solutions.
  • Manage relationships with external PAS providers, ensuring successful integrations and troubleshooting technical challenges.
  • Increase awareness and adoption of platform capabilities within sales, customer service, and operational teams.

Operational & Delivery Excellence.

  • Oversee end-to-end broker onboarding, ensuring a streamlined process for direct, API, and Software House integrations.
  • Define and track platform KPIs, monitoring system stability, uptime, and overall performance.
  • Work closely with operations, support, and DevOps teams to manage system maintenance and enhancements.
  • Establish and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure platform reliability.
  • Leverage Freshworks and AI solutions to improve customer engagement and operational efficiency.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management.

  • Ensure all platforms comply with security, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Partner with engineering teams to manage technical debt, infrastructure planning, and software lifecycle management.
  • Oversee third-party vendor performance and contractual obligations.

KPIs & Performance Metrics.

  • Platform Uptime & Stability: Maintain uptime above agreed SLAs for core platforms.
  • API & System Performance: Meet integration response time and reliability benchmarks.
  • Broker Onboarding Efficiency: Reduce time-to-go-live for new brokers.
  • Incident Resolution Time: Improve resolution times for platform-related issues.

Requirements Technology.

  • Ability to work remotely (virtually) with the space and freedom to have confidential conversations.
  • Access to a reliable / fast internet connection. (PC / Screen equipment is provided)

You (preferable).

  • At least 10 years proven experience in your field
  • Understanding of the UK Insurance or Premium Finance market.
